Frequently asked questions

Where can I register for your BFD (Beginner Frame Drum) course?

Right here, in fact! Click the BFD link in the top menu and you can register right away!

Do you offer in-person workshops or lessons?

Occasionally, I offer in-person workshops, but I'm concentrating on creating online learning resources these days. If you join my email list, you'll be the first to know about any upcoming workshops!

What if I have no rhythm? Can I still learn to drum?

I know a lot of people have this idea of themselves as "the person with no rhythm". I don't believe this is true.

What it usually means is that you may not yet have tried focusing your attention on what rhythmic time really feels like.

But the short answer is yes. If you love the drum, you can learn the drum!
